Tuco’s is delighted to continue its support of Pieta house through its loyalty scheme programme, donating €2,050. The partnership which has been running since 2018, works in conjunction with our loyalty card. The business matches and donates 10% of every purchase made using the loyalty card.
Pieta House provides vital mental health services to people dealing with depression and suicide. Pieta provides free counseling to those with suicidal ideation, those engaging in self-harm, and those bereaved by suicide. Staff are fully qualified and provide a professional one-to-one therapeutic service. In addition to face-to-face counseling Pieta has started providing remote counseling services to allow for the covid related restrictions that have been imposed. Such services depend on charitable funding and fundraising efforts made by the local community.
Despite a challenging year due to COVID restrictions Tuco’s is delighted to donate over €2000 to pieta house to support them as they provide vital mental health services. The isolation associated with the COVID lockdown has been very tough on people, and it’s something that’s not being talked about enough.
